[Image taken 19.8.22] Bootham (at junction with Grosvenor Terrace), York. First it was ‘just’ the red phase on the lights on the left-hand (northern) side that could not be seen due to uncut, low hanging, foliage. For a month or more it’s no lights are visible or even that there are lights. Which might account for the high speeds of some drivers and the motorist earlier this week whose vehicle was not only over the first white line at the new (not yet in operation) ped-cycle crossing at the former Bootham Hospital (part of the Scarborough Bridge to Bootham Park cycle route improvements scheme) but also over the ASL.
